Welcome to the new Materials Ireland website. The remit of Material Ireland is to aid the development of a high technology economy in Ireland, by commercially exploiting advanced materials developed in Ireland. This is to be achieved by:

• Establishing a forum for professionals, students and all others interested in advanced materials
• Enhancing knowledge and understanding of advanced materials
• Promoting world-leading research and development in materials science and engineering
